Lucy Harris
Lucy lives in South London, having moved back there after completing the Children’s Book Illustration MA course at Cambridge School of Art in Spring 2024. She works mainly with watercolour, pastel and pencil and can usually be found outside, gathering ideas from nature.
Lucy is obsessed with anything tiny, cute and a bit weird looking. Her picture book stories are usually fed by things like folk tales, old stones, lovely walks or strange insects people send her on Tiktok. With her illustrations she always aims to create a sense of playfulness and warmth.
Lucy currently splits her time illustrating and picturebook-making with working as an Illustrator/Designer at a toy company; doing everything from dreaming up new characters and worlds to creating and managing marketing campaigns.
