Cat Weldon

Cat writes funny middle grade fiction, as well as younger fiction and graphic novel scripts. She has a particular interest in offbeat fairy tales and world mythology.

Her hilarious viking series, How To Be A Hero, is published by Macmillan Children’s Books. Guppy are publishing her graphic novel series, Amelia Cheeseheart Investigates, in 2025.

With a Master’s degree in Scriptwriting and a background in children’s theatre, Cat now splits her time between writing and teaching.

She lives in East Anglia with her husband, two children and collection of delinquent chickens.
